An auteur is come one who produces films and makes them unique to there own producing style. Therefore there would be a running theme through all his/her videos.
I have chosen the video "The Kill" by 30 Seconds to Mars. I chose this video because of its iconic signs to the film "the shinging" i thought that the way it was shot and how the band members were represented was really good. It shows the individuality of the band and its genre. It gives the film a good spin off with the conventions of the film but with different events happening in it. I thought the blacked out screens at the begging like "the Shining" is represneted really well and is quite spooky. The shots of the lead singer also represent him as the main chracter in the film.
