3. What considerations has this research raised in terms of planning your production?



Our research of audiences has shown who and how we should appeal to our audiences. There are two ways that an audience can consume music videos: Ambient, when an individual has the muic channel/ video on in the background, perhaps when doing something else occupying there attention. Focused when the individual is watching the video/channel only to entertain himself.

There is a difference in how we want our audience to consume our video. If we make a performance based video then it will more likely be consumed in the ambient sense as the audience doesnt feel the need to sit and watch the whole thing where as if it is a narrative then the audience wants to find out what happens so as a group we need to make a decision if we want a performance or anrratve based video.
