Here is a mood board for the indie/rock genre, we can see conventions of this genre from these images. There is a lot of dark clothing worn with the same style hair each time. The picture with "art of rebelion" is a good summary of the genre as it shows the conventional thought that the genre is reblious and upholds the state.
